HISTORY:
Created on Cybertron just before the war's start, Lightshow has few memories of her homeworld. Her creators gave her a different designation, but she changed it when she became a youngling.

She was practically raised by her elder sister, Retrospect who is the equivalent of 20 years her elder. Lightshow does not know what happened to her creators, Retrospect has never shared the information and does not seem interested in doing so anytime soon. The younger femme doesn't particularly care, but something about this nonchalant attitude that her serious older sister has about the disappearance of their creators does bother Lightshow.

When the sisters left Cybertron, they disembarked from a small frieghter at a station with no name at the time. While Retrospect went into the workforce, Lightshow found herself alone most of the time. The then sparkling spent her time wandering the station corridors (without Retrospect's knowledge) and discovering the different inhabitants. This was how she first discovered organics - an obsession that she does not grow out of, much to Retrospect's chagrin. It is also how she discovers music, dancing, and lightshows.

During one of her exploratory times in the station, when she had just transitioned to a youngling, Lightshow met a mech called Upbeat. He served as a DJ at a local club. She spent many long cycles with this mech, learning about what he did and becoming more and more fascinated by it. These trips ended when Retrospect found a new position that required her to be at the residence during the waking cycle. Though annoyed that she would no longer be able to wander the station on her own, Lightshow was glad to have her sister around for longer than half a cycle at a time.

Eventually, Lightshow showed Retrospect what she had learned. While surprised her sister did not demand to know where she had learned her skills, she was thrilled when Retrospect suggested they buy a turn table and several light discs for Lightshow to practice with. When Lightshow reached adulthood, she found out why Retrospect was so interested in her skills.

The femme had been saving up her credits to buy a dilapidated old club. Lightshow did not know why Retrospect would want to buy such a place, but she was more than happy to help rebuild and remodel it. When it was done, it was clean, nice, and smaller than the other clubs around. The latter fact spurred more than a few suggestions from locals that it wouldn't last long due to limited space restrictions. Along with the fact that the other clubs were deeply rooted into the station's entertainment backbone. Lightshow ignored these naysayers and continued to support her sister's idea, no matter what.

Over time, Lightshow developed the clubs lights and created fantastical shows that mimicked the soundwaves in the music she used while acting as DJ. She also used most of the credits her sister gave her as pay for new armor - armor that contained lights and could be synchronized with her turn table's sound system. Bots and organics alike began coming to the club steadily and Lightshow never thought twice about why. She was just glad bots liked her sister's club.
