History:

Harmony was 'born' into slavery. Her femme creator was sparked by her master and Harmony was brought into awareness among that mech's concubines. This was the only life she ever knew. When she was a youngling, Scattershot happened across her and offered her master a good amount of credits for her, having been taken by her slender design and genteel demeanor.

Scattershot was never harsh with her, never demanding anything of her. He left her alone for the most part, until she reached adulthood. At that point, he took her on as his personal companion. No other mechs were allowed near her, for any reason. This over protectiveness died down as Harmony showed that she was capable of convincing mechs that she was of little interest to them.

With her upbringing, Scattershot used her as the guide and lead trainer for the newest femmes and mechs that he brought into his business. She taught them how to behave and accept their new roles. Most of the slaves Scattershot sold had gone through her training.

As time wore on, Harmony found herself growing fonder of Scattershot and felt a strong connection to him. The connection remained a secret until Stratus appeared, waiting for her turn to be trained. Harmony developed a friendship with the small femme and spent a great deal of time with her. The two were very close when Scattershot found a buyer for Stratus. Once the femme was gone, Harmony released her anger on Scattershot for the first time. He was taken aback, but did not retaliate, instead he allowed her to vent her anger.

After the sale of Stratus, Harmony stopped training the new slaves, refusing to assist Scattershot with the slavery trade. She watched femmes and mechs alike as they were bought and sold like livestock, her anger growing with each new sale. She stopped visiting Scattershot in his quarters and refused his company when he sought her out. This continued until she felt something stirring in her spark.

A visit to the medic told her something she had dreaded, she and Scattershot had managed the impossible, they had sparked. She was 'pregnant'. For the first time in nearly three months, Harmony visited Scattershot. At the news, the mech nearly collapsed, his optics going dim and his knees giving out. He sat on the edge of the berth he had shared with her until she had dismissed him from her life.

Harmony gave him an ultimatum -- she was uncertain where the strength was coming from to do so -- either he quit the slavery business or she would leave, taking their offspring with her. Scattershot, dumbfounded, stared at her blankly. When she turned away, trying to hide the tears that were threatening to fall, he gripped her wrist and turned her back toward him.

From that moment on, Scattershot swore he'd find all of the femmes and mechs he had sold over the vorns and free them from the captivity he had forced upon them. Harmony proudly joined him in this effort, working with each and every one of the slaves to help them reverse the training that she had provided for them.

Relationships:

Scattershot: Former Master/owner -- Current bondmate -- At first, she feared him. As she lived with him and learned his true personality and habits, she began to settle in. She did not start to fall in love with him until she was much older and then, it was slow in coming. The realization of being in love with him came when she discovered she and he had sparked and she was carrying his sparkling inside of her spark chamber. One of the most difficult things she ever had to do was offer him the ultimatum of ending his slave-trading business or losing her. The only other she loves more than Scattershot is Challenger.

Stratus: Friend/former student -- She has never forgotten Stratus. The little femme only reaches Harmony's abdominal region, causing the older femme to equate her with a youngling/sparkling. This viewpoint causes Stratus some grief when she is in training with Harmony, however the two develop a close friendship. The sale of Stratus was the first mark of how Harmony had grown to despise the life she lead and was helping Scattershot force others into.

Challenger: Son -- Harmony adores her son. He is the light in her life and the reason for forcing her mate to change (at the time, they were not bonded). She gave him the designation of Challenger because he offered them the chance to challenge the beliefs they both held at the time and she believes he will always challenge their conceptions of the world around them.
